Where are your attorneys licensed to practice law?
We have attorneys licensed to practice in Idaho and Utah.
How do I know you don't have a conflict of interest with my case?
Our legal assistants and paralegals always check for a conflict of interest when scheduling initial consultations.
I don't know if I have a case. Can you review it before I come in for an appointment?
Everything starts with a consultation with one of our attorneys. We do not typically review materials and/or exchange phone calls with potential new clients before the scheduled consultation.
Do you charge for consultations?
Yes. The consultation rates differ pending on which attorney you speak to.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Starting March 15, 2018, any cancellations or changes to appointments made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged HALF OF THE CONSULTATION PRICE.
Do you take cases on a contingency basis?
The financial arrangements differ on a case-by-case basis. A number of factors go into consideration, including but not limited to: the work that needs to be done, the time limit to consider, your income/ability to pay, among several other factors. The attorney can discuss your options with you during your consultation.
How do I know if I'm within the statute of limitations for my claim?
Employment claims have various statutes of limitations that are all triggered by different things. It depends whether the claims are under state law, federal law, or something else, as well as the particular events that occurred. We ask all potential new clients to draft timelines for this reason, to ensure that we can be as accurate as possible in discussing your claims with you.
